PoliticsPhoto: Hindustan TimesSupreme Court Questions Election Commission on Voter Roll Revisions
The Supreme Court asked the Election Commission not to require 4.3 million Delhi voters, removed from rolls due to address issues, to reapply via Form 6 during the special intensive revision (SIR). Instead, it suggested restoring names through Form 8 or enumeration. The court also questioned the legality and human involvement in the 'logical discrepancy' category, which disenfranchised 2.71 million in West Bengal.
