Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez declared three days of national mourning after a collision between two high-speed trains near Urda, Toledo, killed at least 68 people and injured over 100. The crash occurred on the Madrid–Andalusia line when an Iryo train stopped and was hit from behind by a Renfe train. A signalling system failure caused the accident, affecting train control over a 63 km track section.
