In Sultanpur's Sitakund Dham, pilgrim visits have resumed after the Gomti river's water level decreased. Earlier, heavy rains had submerged the ghats, halting darshan. Every Sunday, Gomti Aarti is held here, along with a Shani temple attracting large crowds. According to local belief, Mata Sita washed her hair here during exile with Lord Ram, giving the place its name.
