India's Forex Reserves Drop $50 Billion Since September Peak
India's foreign exchange reserves have declined for the fourth straight week, falling to $734.6 billion from a peak of $785.71 billion on September 4. The Reserve Bank of India intervened to support the rupee amid pressures from high oil prices, rising US Treasury yields, and foreign equity outflows. The rupee also weakened nearly 0 on Wednesday.
