Woman and Sanitary Inspector Arrested for Fake Death Certificate Scam

Yeramsetti Rama Devi from Kanuru village, Krishna district, was arrested along with Sanitary Inspector D. Antony for creating a fake death certificate of her living husband to claim widow pension. Antony accepted a ₹15,000 bribe to issue the certificate. The Penamaluru police registered a case following a complaint and remanded both accused in judicial custody, said DSP K. Jaya Krishna.
