BusinessVP Radhakrishnan: Inclusive Growth Key to India's Developed Economy Status
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan stated at the Kautaliya Economic Conclave 2026 in New Delhi that India can be called a developed economy only when growth is inclusive and benefits all sections of society. India’s real GDP growth for Q1 FY27 was 7.8%. He highlighted Japan Credit Rating Agency’s upgrade of India’s sovereign rating from BBB+ to A as a sign of economic strength and emphasized the link between economic and social resilience.
