Vedanta Power Q2 Sales Rise 26% to Record 5,593 Million Units

Vedanta Power reported its highest-ever quarterly power sales of 5,593 million units in Q2 FY27, a 26% increase year-on-year. Sales in the first half of FY27 rose 32% to 10,817 million units, driven by strong performance at Meenakshi Energy and Jharsuguda Thermal Plant. Jharsuguda's Q2 sales surged 186% to 873 million units, while Meenakshi Energy's sales jumped 111% to 1,470 million units, reflecting expanded capacity and improved plant availability.
