BusinessUS-China Agree on $30 Billion Tariff Reduction Plan
The United States and China have agreed to reduce tariffs on about $30 billion worth of goods each, including agricultural products, medical devices, and consumer goods. Around 90% of products in each category will see tariffs lowered to most-favored-nation rates. The deal follows a meeting between Presidents Trump and Xi and includes forming a US-China Trade Council to improve bilateral trade.
