US and 18 WTO Members Agree to No E-Commerce Duties
The United States and 18 other World Trade Organization members, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Norway, and Argentina, agreed not to impose duties on electronic commerce after WTO talks failed to extend the global moratorium on digital trade tariffs. This separate pact aims to maintain tariff-free digital trade among these countries.
