Two Foreign Nationals Die of Suspected Electrocution in Bengaluru Hotel Pool

Two foreign nationals, Alexander Maximilian Theiss, a 57-year-old German Lufthansa crew member, and Juraj Horvat, a 45-year-old Slovak IBM project manager, died of suspected electrocution in the swimming pool of Conrad Hotel in Bengaluru. Two others, an American tourist and a hotel lifeguard, were injured during the rescue attempt and are out of danger. Police have registered a case and the pool remains closed for maintenance.
