TRC Needed to Claim Lower Tax Under DTAA for Indian Residents
Indian residents earning income abroad may need a Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) to claim benefits under the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA). The TRC, issued by tax authorities, certifies tax residency and helps claim lower tax rates, exemptions, or relief from double taxation.
