In Telangana, police arrested seven people, including three Indian Army personnel, for stealing weapons from a military base. The main accused, former havildar Upputhala Mallesh (37) from Nagarkurnool district, was caught on September 11. He allegedly stole an AK-203 assault rifle and ammunition from the Bolaram 'COT and Battalion Magazine' on August 30-31. The stolen items were recovered from his father's house in Nagarkurnool. No links to terrorist or extremist groups were found.
