Textile Ministry Reopens PLI Scheme, Lowers Turnover Threshold to ₹100 Crore

The textiles ministry will reopen the application portal for its production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme from November 1 to December 31. The turnover threshold for the scheme’s second category is reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore to include more MSMEs. The fourth round aims to boost domestic manufacturing of man-made fibre apparel, fabrics, and technical textiles, extend the scheme until 2033-34, and enhance exports through free trade agreements.
