Stronger Grip Strength Predicts Longer Life in Older Women
New research shows that stronger grip strength and ease of standing from a chair are strong predictors of longer, healthier life in older women. The study found that greater muscle strength significantly lowers mortality risk, even after accounting for physical activity and other health factors.
