SEBI to Issue Guidelines on Derivative Settlement Prices Within a Week

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will issue guidelines on determining derivative settlement prices on expiry days within a week. Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said this follows a review of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) mechanism. SEBI had sought public comments on CAS, market timings, and settlement methodology, receiving around 20,000 responses by October 3, 2026.

India Tightens Forex Rules, Provides Dollar Support to Oil Firms
