BusinessSaudi Arabia Cuts Oil Prices for Asia to Largest Discount Since 2020
Saudi Arabia has reduced the official selling price of its Arab Light crude for Asian buyers by $5 a barrel below the Oman-Dubai average for November, marking the biggest discount since June 2020. This unexpected cut comes amid rising oil prices above $100 a barrel and increased geopolitical risks after Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis attacked Saudi Aramco sites. Heavier crude grades saw even deeper discounts of $5 per barrel.
