RBI Hikes Rates, Home Loan EMIs Increase

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra stated that rate cuts are currently off the table, with future meetings likely to see either further hikes or pauses. Existing home loan borrowers will see changes based on their loan's benchmark, as banks must reset rates linked to external benchmarks at least quarterly.
