Prashant Bhushan Alleges Partisan Election Commission at Bengaluru Seminar
Eminent lawyer Prashant Bhushan accused the Election Commission of India of partisanship and using the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise to exclude minorities and weaker sections from electoral rolls. Speaking in Bengaluru, he criticized the lack of transparency in electoral processes, alleged targeted exclusion of Muslims, and questioned the independence of the Election Commission following recent legal changes. Bhushan also called for public mobilization to defend democracy and constitutional institutions.
