Parveen Hooda Reaches Asian Games Boxing Final with 5-0 Win

Indian boxer Parveen Hooda secured her place in the Asian Games 65kg boxing final by defeating China's Li Shu 5-0 in the semifinals. She is the first Indian boxer at the ongoing Games in Japan to reach the gold medal bout. Parveen, from Rohtak, Haryana, previously won bronze at the Hangzhou Asian Games before a suspension. India has already surpassed its previous medal tally with six boxers in medal rounds.
