Number Plate Violations Increasing on Chennai Roads

Chennai is seeing a rise in vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, and autos, operating without number plates. Some vehicles display political party names or symbols instead. Many riders, especially young ones, violate traffic rules by driving on the wrong side and entering one-way streets incorrectly. Commuters report infrequent vehicle checks and urge the traffic police to enforce stricter, routine monitoring throughout the day and night.
