Scheduled Tribe Man Stabbed to Death Over Farm Passage Dispute in Karnataka

A 26-year-old Scheduled Tribe man, D S Murali of Nayaka community, was stabbed to death in Devarahalli, Karnataka, following a dispute over farm passage. The accused, family members of Ramakrishnappa and Nagaraj, allegedly used caste-based abuse and attacked Murali. Masti police have registered an SC/ST atrocity case, arrested three suspects, and are investigating. Kolar SP Kannika Sikriwal visited the site.

A 33-year-old private bank employee from Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, was duped of Rs 13 lakh in an online home loan scam. The victim, Karan P, was contacted by a fraudster posing as a GM Fincorp representative who falsely claimed to improve his low CIBIL score. Between December 2025 and July 2026, Karan transferred the money as processing fees and other charges. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation.
