NPPA Revises Prices for 543 Anti-Cancer Medicine Brands

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has revised the maximum retail prices of 543 anti-cancer medicine brands, effective November 1. Significant price reductions include Anastrozole 1mg tablets by RPG Life Sciences from Rs 695 to Rs 73 per 10 tablets, Dr Reddy's Azacytin injection from Rs 6,337 to Rs 1,495.04, Abbott Healthcare's Bevacizumab injection from Rs 21,767.70 to Rs 5,930.13, Natco Pharma's Dasanat 20 tablets from Rs 2,812.50 to Rs 1,085.93, and RPG Life Sciences' Debrumab 60 mg injection from Rs 22,031.25 to Rs 5,941.

Former MLC Challenges Telangana Government's Prohibitory Land List in High Court

Former MLC Elvis Stephenson of BRS filed a writ petition in Telangana High Court challenging Government Order No. 341 issued on September 23, which placed lands of 16 BRS leaders, including K. Chandrasekhara Rao and K.T. Rama Rao, on a prohibitory list. The petitioner alleges the order targets BRS leaders selectively.
