NLMC to Raise Additional ₹5,000 Crore from PSU Land Sales by FY27

The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) aims to generate an extra ₹4,000-5,000 crore from selling surplus land assets of central public sector enterprises (CPSEs) by the end of FY27. This is in addition to about ₹9,000 crore worth of land already sold. Key ministries involved include telecommunications, chemicals and fertilisers, petroleum and petrochemicals, and steel. NLMC CEO Rohan Chand Thakur confirmed ongoing transactions and upcoming auctions.

SC Withholds BMC Commissioner's Salary Over Encroachment Failure
