Two individuals, including an Indian Navy employee and a civilian driver at Visakhapatnam naval base, were arrested by Andhra Pradesh police for allegedly sharing sensitive defence information with Pakistan intelligence operatives. The suspects used encrypted channels to pass classified data about defence establishments and strategic locations, raising national security concerns. The case was registered on September 2 by the counter intelligence cell in Vijayawada.
