National Medical Commission Directs Medical Colleges to Form Patient Safety Committees

The National Medical Commission has instructed medical colleges to establish patient safety committees. These committees will be chaired by the director, head of the institution, or medical superintendent and include representatives from relevant specialties and patient safety fields. This initiative aims to create an institutional mechanism to monitor and enhance safety practices in medical institutions.
