Second Worker Dies from Injuries in MRPL Mangaluru Blast

Rajesh D’Silva, a contract employee injured in the September 30 blast at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), died from burn injuries at a private hospital. He suffered 35% burns in the Coker hydrotreater unit explosion, raising the death toll to two. Earlier, Manish Karkada died and 12 others were injured. CPI(M) demands compensation and a public inquiry.
