Muthoot Finance Q2 Profit Rises 27% to ₹2,977 Crore

Muthoot Finance reported a 27% increase in standalone profit to ₹2,977 crore for the July-September quarter, up from ₹2,345 crore the previous year. Total income rose 37% to ₹8,842 crore. Interest income increased to ₹8,730 crore. For the first half of FY27, consolidated profit after tax grew 39% to ₹6,103 crore. Consolidated loan AUM rose 42% to ₹2.09 trillion, with gold loan AUM up 46% to ₹1.93 trillion. Executive Vice Chairman George Alexander Muthoot highlighted growth opportunities in India's gold loan market and diversification in microfinance.
