Multi-Storey Building Collapses in Nairobi, Many Feared Trapped

A multi-storey building under construction collapsed around 1 p.m. Friday in Nairobi's Eastleigh area, Kenya, leaving a large pile of concrete and more than ten floors stacked closely. Rescue efforts are ongoing amid challenges including looting. Several people are trapped or injured. Joseph Kaula, a plasterer on the fifth floor, escaped just before the collapse, hearing screams and seeing workers flee.
