Kochi multiplex inspections to continue in October over food pricing

Authorities in Kochi will continue inspections at multiplexes in October following complaints of food overpricing. Joint inspections by Legal Metrology, Civil Supplies, and Food Safety departments found violations, including inaccurate food quantities. Notices were issued to offending establishments. Rajesh Sam, Controller of Legal Metrology Kerala, stated no fixed price enforcement exists but inspections will ensure compliance and action against malpractices.
