Kerala Assembly Election: UDF Leads with 45.71%, LDF Vote Share Drops 13%

In the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, the United Democratic Front (UDF) increased its vote share to 45.71%, consolidating its position as the strongest bloc. The Left Democratic Front (LDF) saw a significant decline from 45.33% to 32.48%, a nearly 13% drop. The BJP-led NDA also expanded its vote share from 12.41% to 14.43%, winning three seats. The total electorate was over 27 million, with 21.6 million votes cast.
