Kaushiki Chakraborty Sends Legal Notice to Chinmayi Over Vaanmathi Song Plagiarism

Singer Kaushiki Chakraborty has issued a legal notice to Chinmayi Sripaada and Singapore-based songwriter Shabir Sulthan over alleged plagiarism in their Tamil song Vaanmathi. Kaushiki claims some verses and vocals from her 2015 Darbar Festival performance were used without permission or credit. Chinmayi acknowledged the notice but said she was unaware of the copied content. The song has been removed from Shabir's social media.

Mangaluru Priest Arrested for Child Sexual Assault; Church Knew Earlier

Father Cyprian Pinto of St Vincent Ferrer Church in Mangaluru, Karnataka, was arrested on October 17 for allegedly sexually abusing minors.
