Karnataka CM Launches Rs 3,000 Crore Development Projects in Hiriyur

Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar visited Hiriyur assembly constituency for a by-election after MLA D Sudhakar's death. He launched development works across Hiriyur taluk's four hoblis, including a KSRTC bus stand bhoomi puja in Dharmapura. Shivakumar announced projects worth over Rs 2,500 crore and a total Rs 3,000 crore allocation including Rs 500 crore for community halls, plus plans to distribute five lakh housing sites statewide.

SC Withholds BMC Commissioner's Salary Over Encroachment Failure
