Kansas Court Upholds $6,500 Award for Neighbor's Tree Cutting
A Kansas appeals court upheld a $6,500 damages award against Douglas Black after his neighbor's fence project led to the cutting of 133 trees, some up to 70 feet tall, on adjoining land in 2015. The court ruled the trespass case was filed within the legal time limit and found sufficient evidence to hold Black responsible for the tree damage.
