PoliticsJournalists Detained Protesting Sexual Harassment by Delhi Police
A group of journalists protesting outside Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi demanded FIRs against an Assistant Commissioner Police and others accused of sexual harassment during protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The journalists were detained and taken to Delhi Cantonment police station. Complaints were transferred to the Crime Branch, but no FIR has been filed yet. Protesters allege police manhandled them during the third day of protest.
