Jharkhand to Open Jan Aushadhi Centers in All Major Government Hospitals

Jharkhand's Health Department has decided to provide affordable, quality essential medicines in hospitals. A high-level meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh directed the opening of Jan Aushadhi Centers and Amrit Pharmacies in all medical college buildings and major hospitals within 15 days. Districts were instructed to review medicine procurement, maintain adequate stock, and ensure easy patient access to these centers.
