Rupee Drops to 96.39 Against Dollar Amid Oil Rise, FII Outflows
The Indian rupee weakened to 96.39 against the US dollar due to rising crude oil prices and continued selling by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs). On Monday, FIIs sold equities worth a net Rs 4,699.14 crore. Despite these pressures, domestic equity markets gained, which helped moderate the rupee's decline during early trading.
