J&K Waqf Board mandates uniform Friday sermons with pre-decided topics

The Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has introduced a directive for uniform Friday sermons across all mosques in the Union Territory. A committee of preachers will decide and approve the sermon topics in advance to ensure consistency. This initiative aims to include non-Waqf-affiliated mosques as well, making J&K the first region in India to implement such a mechanism.
