Iran Says US Accepted Some Conditions to Reopen Strait of Hormuz
Iran stated that the United States accepted some of its seven conditions for reopening the strategic Strait of Hormuz but left other demands unresolved. Mohsen Rezaei, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary, called the US response "insufficient" and warned that progress toward ending the war remains uncertain. Tehran insists it will not reopen the waterway or resume talks until all conditions are met. The US communicated its response via Qatari intermediaries.
