Iran Says Hormuz Strait Can Reopen in 6 Days If US Accepts Conditions
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Strait of Hormuz could reopen within six days if the US accepts Iran's conditions, with negotiations resuming on the seventh day. Iran demands lifting the US blockade on its ports, ending sanctions on oil exports, and halting regional hostilities. Defence Minister Mehrdad Akhlaghi warned of "enormous damage" if the US attacks Iran. Araghchi made these remarks during an OIC meeting in Baghdad.
