BusinessIndiGo Raises Fuel Surcharges on Domestic and International Flights
IndiGo announced revised fuel charges for all new bookings from October 6, 2026, due to a sustained rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices. The airline cited geopolitical tensions in the Middle East causing over a 14% month-on-month increase, pushing ATF costs to a decade high. Domestic fuel surcharges will vary by distance, starting at Rs 375 for routes up to 500 km.
