BusinessIndiGo Raises Fuel Surcharge on Domestic Flights Amid Rising ATF Prices
IndiGo has increased the fuel surcharge on domestic and international flights due to a more than 14% rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices, reaching a decade-high. The domestic fuel surcharge now ranges from ₹375 to ₹1,300 per sector based on distance, up from ₹275 to ₹950 in April. This hike reflects rising operational costs linked to fuel expenses. IndiGo's parent company shares saw a slight increase on BSE.
