India to Develop Tunnel Boring Machines if China Imposes Export Curbs

India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal stated that India will develop tunnel boring machines if China restricts their export. China will require licenses for exporting these machines starting November 18. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that India is already manufacturing 8-meter and 15-meter diameter tunnel boring machines, with plans to produce machines over 16 meters soon, aiming for self-reliance in design, manufacturing, and maintenance.

SC Withholds BMC Commissioner's Salary Over Encroachment Failure
