TechnologyIndia to Build Indigenous 350 km/h Bullet Train by 2030
India plans to develop a domestic high-speed bullet train with a design speed of 350 km/h, called the B35 model, by 2030. The train will resemble Japan's next-generation E10 series, which will also begin production in 2030. The Railway Ministry cabinet approved the revised cost of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project, now exceeding ₹2 lakh crore, up from the 2015 estimate.
