India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement to Begin October 20
The India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will come into force on October 20 after ratification. The pact is expected to open new export and investment opportunities between the two countries. However, third-country goods routed through New Zealand into India will not receive FTA duty benefits, as clarified by officials including Piyush Goyal.
