PoliticsIndia Begins UN Peacekeeping Training for 30 Myanmar Officers
India's Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping (CUNPK) has started a two-week UN peacekeeping operations course for 30 Myanmar officers in Naypyidaw. This is the ninth such course between India and Myanmar, focusing on conflict management, rules of engagement, and operational planning. Ambassador Abhay Thakur highlighted the strategic India-Myanmar relationship and India's extensive peacekeeping experience since 1950.
