India and Japan Air Force Chiefs Fly Tejas in Veer Guardian-2026
During Exercise Veer Guardian-2026 in Jodhpur, the Air Force Chiefs of India and Japan flew the Indian Tejas fighter jet. This marked a significant milestone as Japanese fighter jets operated from Indian soil for the first time. Japanese General Takehiro Morita became the first Asian air force chief to pilot the Tejas. The exercise also featured IAF's Su-30MKI and Rafale alongside Japan's F-2A jets.
