The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts November to be slightly warmer than usual, with above normal maximum and minimum temperatures across most of India. Rainfall is expected to be below normal in most areas except parts of central, northwest, and northeast India, which may receive normal to above normal rainfall. A cyclonic storm is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal, affecting south Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu coasts with heavy rain.
