IMD Forecasts Heavy Rain in South India with Northeast Monsoon Onset

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the onset of the Northeast Monsoon over South India within the next two to three days, bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh from October 14 to 19. A low-pressure area is expected to develop over the South Andaman Sea and move towards the Southwest Bay of Bengal. Northern states including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and parts of Himachal and Jammu may also see scattered rainfall.

Telangana Officials Arrested for Rs 20 Lakh Bribe in Land Survey

Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested tahsildar B.
