Telangana Officials Arrested for Rs 20 Lakh Bribe in Land Survey

Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested tahsildar B. Sudershan Reddy and mandal surveyor Batuka Srinivasulu for demanding and accepting a Rs 20 lakh bribe to conduct a land survey and issue a joint inspection report for a proposed layout in Rangareddy district. The bribe was initially Rs 30 lakh but reduced after negotiation. Both were remanded to judicial custody after being produced in Hyderabad court.

Delhi Orders Garbage and Dust Clearance by October 31

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to clear all accumulated dust, garbage, and construction waste from roads, medians, and footpaths across its 12 zones by October 31.
