Government Revises FASTag Rules for Divyangjan Vehicles

The government revised FASTag guidelines for vehicles registered under the Divyangjan category. Beneficiaries will receive exempted FASTags based on disability percentage shown on their disability certificate, UDID card, or other records. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways simplified toll procedures by changing the renewal from annual to a new system to ease living for persons with disabilities.

Kochi multiplex inspections to continue in October over food pricing

In 2019, a Maryland family relocated the 255-year-old Galloway House about 50 miles across Chesapeake Bay by barge to save it from demolition. The 400-ton mansion was carefully lifted and moved in phases starting September 2019. After reaching its new waterfront site in Queenstown, restoration began to preserve its historic features.
